| Description | EIF1, also known as eukaryotic translation initiation factor 1, is a universally conserved translation factor that is necessary for scanning and involved in initiation site selection. This protein promotes the assembly of 48S ribosomal complexes at the authentic initiation codon of a conventional capped mRNA. Recombinant human EIF1 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Endotoxin: ≤1EU/1ug (LAL). Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. | ||
