Description AGR2 (Anterior gradient 2 homolog) is the human orthologue of the secreted Xenopus laevis Anterior Gradient protein (XAG-2). This is a small, possibly secreted molecule of yet weakly defined functions that is widely expressed in human tissues. Expression of AGR2 shows a positive correlation with expression of estrogen receptor in breast carcinoma and a negative correlation with expression of EGF receptor. Recombinant human AGR2, fused to His-tag at N-terminal domain, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa21-175 from human AGR2, fused to His-tag at N-terminal domain, expressed in E.coli.
