| Description | CA72-4 is a large mucin-like glycoprotein that was originally defined by the monoclonal antibody B72.3. Tag72-4 is widely distributed in different types of carcinomas. When used for immunohistochemistry, Ca72-4 can be used to classify epithelial-derived cancers and in differentiating an adenocarcinoma from a mesothelioma. TAG72-4 is used in gastric cancer patients either undergoing treatment or in remission. Source: CA 72-4, from human fluids. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | ||
