Description			CA 15-3 (Cancer Antigen 15-3) is breast tumor marker. Diagnostic tests measuring the MUC1- glycoprotein are FDA/EU approved including CA 15-3, CA 27-29 and Br assays. Reoccurrence detection of breast cancer by MUC-1 assay can preceed confirmation by radiological detection methods by 1-9 months. Source: CA 15-3, from human fluids. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
