Description The gene encoding this protein has been reported in PMID 9403053 as one of several tumor-suppressing subtransferable fragments located in the imprinted gene domain of 11p15.5, an important tumor-suppressor gene region. Alterations in this region have been associated with the Beckwith-Wiedemann syndrome, Wilms tumor, rhabdomyosarcoma, adrenocortical carcinoma, and lung, ovarian, and breast cancer. Alignment of this gene to genomic sequence data suggests that this gene may reside on chromosome 2 rather than chromosome 11. Species: Homo sapiens Source: E. coli Primary Sequence (aa): 387 Domain (aa): Full-length Tag/Fusion Partner: T7 Tag Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA as an Antigen, Ligand, or Assay Standard. Other applications not tested. Quality Control: SDS-PAGE Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and freeze at -70°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. Important note: This recombinant enzyme has NOT been tested with regard to biological activity.
