| Description | Human TEK tyrosine kinase, endothelial, also known as Tie2, (GenBank Accession No. NM_000459) a.a.771-1124(end) with N-terminal GST tag, MW= 66kD, expressed in baculovirus infected Sf9 cell expression system. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa771-1124 from human Tie2 at N-terminal, fused to GST tag at N-terminal. expressed in baculovirus infected Sf9 cell expression system. Molecular Weight: ~66kD Specific Activity: 1400 pmol/min/ug Assay Condition: Enzyme reaction is conducted in a buffer containing 50mM HEPES (pH 7.5), 10mM MgCl2, 1mM EGTA, 200uM ATP, 0.01% Brij-35, 2uM substrate (Tyr Peptide 5, Z-lyte kinase assay kit from Invitrogen), and enzyme at 37°C for 1 hr. Application: Useful for the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors, and selectivity profiling. Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. | ||
