| Description | Human flt3-Ligand (flk2-ligand) stimulates the proliferation and colony formation of certain bone marrow precursor cells including CD34+ cells. Recombinant human flt3-ligand is a soluble polypeptide containing 155aa residues, which comprises the extracellular domain of the transmembrane flt3-ligand protein. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to human flt3-Ligand expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~17.6kD Biological Activity: The ED50, as determined by the dose-dependent stimulation of the proliferation of human AML5 cells, is <1.0ng/ml, corresponding to a specific activity of >1x10e6units/mg. Endotoxin: <0.1ng/ug Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | ||
