| Description | The BMX gene encodes a non-receptor tyrosine kinase, which may play a role in the growth and differentiation of hematopoietic cells. The BMX gene is located on chromosomal band Xp22.2 between the DXS197 and DXS207 loci. Interestingly, chromosome X also contains the closest relative of BMX, the BTK gene, implicated in X-linked agammaglobulinemia. BMX is found to induce activation of the Stat signalling pathway. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to human BMX, fused to GST-Tag at N-terminal expressed in Insect cells. Molecular Weight: ~110kD Specific Activity: 34nmol/min/ml. Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. | ||
