| Description | UBE2D2 is a member of the E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme family. This enzyme functions in the ubiquitination of the tumor-suppressor protein p53, which is induced by an E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase. UBE2D2 catalyzes ubiquitination of IkB-alpha in a phosphorylation and SCFB-TRCP dependent manner. Purified by using conventional chromatography techniques. Source: Recombinant corresponding to aa1-147 of human UBE2D2, fused to His-tag at N-terminal, expressed in E.coli. AA Sequence: MGSSHHHHHH SSGLVPRGSH MALKRIHKEL NDLARDPPAQ CSAGPVGDDM FHWQATIMGP NDSPYQGGVF FLTIHFPTDY PFKPPKVAFT TRIYHPNINS NGSICLDILR SQWSPALTIS KVLLSICSLL CDPNPDDPLV PEIARIYKTD REKYNRIARE WTQKYAM Molecular Weight: ~18.9kD (167aa), confirmed by MALDI-TOF Enzyme Activity: Not determined. This product is recommended for use in applications that do not require a catalytically active form of the protein. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | ||
