| Description | Homocysteine-responsive endoplasmic reticulum-resident ubiquitin-like domain member 1 protein, also known as HERPuD1, is a 391aa multi-pass membrane protein that localizes to the ER and contains one N-terminal ubiquitin-like domain. Widely expressed with highest expression in the brain, HERP is a component of the ERAD system and, via its ubiquitin-like domain, is thought to be involved in the destruction of misfolded proteins. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-263 from human HERPuD1, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E.coli. Molecular Weight: ~31.6kD (286aa) Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | ||
