| Description | MDM2 is an E3 ubiquitin ligase that regulates the turnover of several cellular factors including the p53 tumor suppressor protein and notably MDM2 itself. The suppression of p53 activity by an amplified Mdm2 gene has been observed in many tumors, including soft tissue sarcomas, osteosarcomas and breast tumors. Source: Recombinant corresponding to full length human MDM2, fused to GST at N-terminus, expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: MDM2: ~82kD, CK1d: ~61kD Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. | ||
