| Description | UBE2D3, the modification of proteins with ubiquitin is an important cellular mechanism for targeting abnormal or short-lived proteins for degradation. Ubiquitination involves at least three classes of enzymes: ubiquitin-activating enzymes, or E1s, ubiquitin-conjugating enzymes, or E2s, and ubiquitin-protein ligases, or E3s. This enzyme functions in the ubiquitination of the tumor-suppressor protein p53, which is induced by an E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase. Source: Recombinant corresponding to aa1-149 from human UBE2D3, fused to His-tag at N-terminal expressed in E.coli. AA Sequence: MGSSHHHHHH SSGLVPRGSH MLSNRKCLSK ELSDLARDPP AQCSAGPVGD DMFHWQATIM GPNDSPYQGG VFFLTIHFPT DYPFKPPKVA FTTRIYHPNI NSNGSICLDI LRSQWSPALT ISKVLLSICS LLCDPNPDDP LVPEIARIYK TDRDKYNRIS REWTQKYAM Molecular Weight: ~19.1kD (MALDI-TOF) Enzyme Activity: Not determined. This product is recommended for use in applications that do not require a catalytically active form of the protein. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | ||
