| Description | Mindbomb homolog 1 (MIB1) is an E3 ligase that facilitates the ubiquitination and the subsequent endocytosis of the Notch ligands, Delta and Jagged (1,2). MIB1 appears to promote the ubiquitination and degradation of death-associated protein kinase (DAPK1) in vitro (3). Expression of MIB1 is seen in both adult and embryonic murine tissues (4). Recently, MIB1 was reported to regulate the extrinsic cell death pathway by binding to cellular FLICE-like inhibitory proteins (cFLIP-L and cFLIP-S), which reduces the interaction of caspase-8 with cFLIP and leads to cell death (5). MIB1 is also involved in T and marginal zone B (MZB) cell development in the lymphopoietic niches (6). Source: Recombinant Human from E. coli Purity: ≥95% Endotoxin: 1.0EU per 1ug (determined by the LAL method) Accession No: Q86YT6 Fragment: Arg769~Glu1000 (Accession No: Q86YT6) Sequence: MGSSHHHHHH SSGLVPRGSH MASMTGGQQM GRGSEF- RN KKGQSPLDLC PDPNLCKALA KCHKEKVSGQ VGSRSPSMIS NDSETLEECM VCSDMKRDTL FGPCGHIATC SLCSPRVKKC LICKEQVQSR TKIEECVVCS DKKAAVLFQP CGHMCACENC ANLMKKCVQC RAVVERRVPF IMCCGGKSSE DATDDISSGN IPVLQKDKDN TNVNADVQKL QQQLQDIKEQ TMCPVCLDRL KNMIFLCGHG TCQLCGDRMS ECPICRKAIE Epitope Tag: N-terminal Tags: His-tag and T7-tag Molecular Weight: 29.4kD Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -80°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months from date of shipment. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Note: Thermal stability is described by the loss rate of the target protein. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation by incubating the protein at 37°C for 48h, with no obvious degradation or precipitation observed. Protein loss is <5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage conditions. | ||
