Description			UBE2R2 is a ubiquitous and pleiotropic Ser/Thr protein kinase involved in cell growth and transformation. This protein is a protein similar to the E2 ubiquitin conjugating enzyme uBC3/CDC34. Studies suggest that CK2-dependent phosphorylation of this ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme functions by regulating beta-TrCP substrate recognition and induces its interaction with beta-TrCP, enhancing beta-catenin degradation. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-238 from human uBE2R2, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E.coli. Molecular Weight: ~29.6kD (261aa), confirmed by MALDI-TOF (Molecular size on SDS-PAGE will appear higher) Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
