| Description | uBE2z belongs to the ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme family. This protein catalyzes the covalent attachment of ubiquitin to other proteins. It is a specific substrate for uBA6, not charged with ubiquitin by uBE1 and may be involved in apoptosis regulation. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-246 from human uBE2Z, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E.coli. Molecular Weight: ~30.5kD (269aa), confirmed by MALDI-TOF Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | ||
