| Description | SFRP2, as known as secreted frizzled-related protein 2, is a member of the SFRP family that contains a cysteine-rich domain homologous to the putative Wnt-binding site of Frizzled proteins. This protein acts as soluble modulators of Wnt signaling. Methylation of this gene is a potential marker for the presence of colorectal cancer. Source: Recombinant corresponding to aa20-295 from human SFRP2 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E.coli. Molecular Weight: ~33.8kD (297aa) Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | ||
