Description Decorin is a small secreted leucine rich proteoglycan that binds to fibronectin, TGF-β and type I and type II collagen. Decorin has been implicated in the assembly of the extracellular matrix and the inhibition of tumor progression. Peptide fragment 316-329, CVYVRSAIQLGNYK (MW:1614D), of the precursor molecule bone proteoglycan II. This C-Terminal human sequence is also Bone Proteoglycan II Precursor. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Antibody blocking. Other applications have not been tested. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: Use antibody (D1875-05) at 1:60-1:300. Coat with 1ug antigen per well. Use AP conjugated anti-sheep for detection Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Reconstitute to nominal volume and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
