| Description | The nitrile of the cyanomethyl group can be converted to a methyl imidate group by treatment with sodium methoxide or HCl which can be used to attach the sugar to a protein. Melting Point: 95-97°C Solubility: Dichloromethane, Ether, Ethyl Acetate, Methanol Storage and Stability: May be stored at RT for short-term only. Long-term storage is recommended at -20°C.
