| Description | Where HexA is either Glucuronic acid or Iduronic Acid - in reality the vast majority of the Uronic Acids are Iduronic Acid based on the almost complete resistance of the DS to degradation by Chondroitinase AC On electrophoresis the DS gives a single band and separates clearly from standards of chondroitin sulfate and heparin. Composition: Disaccharide composition following depolymerisation by Chondroitinase ABC: HexA-GalNAc,4S 88% HexA-GalNAc,6S 5% HexA,2S-GalNAc,4S 7% Source: Porcine Mucosa Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | ||
