Description K5/OS (H): O-Sulfated, High. SO3-/COO- : 2.63. These GAGS are polydisperse. For more information on K5 derivatives. K5 polysaccharide is composed of repeating disaccharide units of GlcAb1–4GlcNAca1-4. The polymer backbone is identical to the biosynthetic precursor of heparan sulfate and heparin. This polymer has been chemically-modified to yield N-sulfated, O- sulfated and N/O-sulfated derivatives.
