| Description | K5 polysaccharide is composed of repeating disaccharide units of GlcAb1–4GlcNAca1-4. The polymer backbone is identical to the biosynthetic precursor of heparan sulfate and heparin. This polymer has been chemically-modified to yield N-sulfated, O-sulfated and N/O-sulfated derivatives. Source: E. coli K5 bacterial culture Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | ||
