Description			DCN, also known as decorin, is a proteoglycan known to interact with collagen and growth factors, may play key roles during ontogenesis, tissue remodeling, and cancer. It regulates assembly of the extracellular collagen matrix and the bioactivity of the matrix associated growth factors FGF-2, GDF-8/Myostatin, TGFb, and WISP-1.
