| Description | pUC19 DNA is isolated from E. coli (dam+, dcm+). The molecule is a double-stranded closed circular high copy plasmid, 2686 base pairs in length. GenBank/EMBL accession number L09137. pUC19 is identical to pUC18 except that the polylinker is inserted in the opposite orientation. pUC19 DNA has a molecular weight of 1.74x10e6 daltons. Storage and Stability: Store at -20°C. Once thawed, keep at 4°C. During prolonged storage the supercoiled form may be slowly converted into the relaxed circular form. | ||
