Description			Strain: Strain A/New Caledonia/20/99 IVR 116 Inactivation: Inactivated with 0.005% thimerosal and beta propiolactone Immunological Activity: Tested with anti-influenza A monoclonal antibodies in ELISA (e.g., I7650-81B). Applications: Suitable for use in Serological studies of influenza A virus, immunogen for antibody production. Other applications have not been tested. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
