Description | Full length Recombinant SIV gp130 glycoprotein produced in the Baculovirus Expression System. Specificity: This protein binds to murine monoclonal antibodies of defined epitope specificity and simian serum polyclonal antibodies in ELISA and Western Blot. Biological Activity: This protein binds to human T-cell receptor CD4 in ELISA and Western ELISA as determined by CD4/gp130/Anti-gp130 mAb-peroxidase capture ELISA. This protein activates simian T-Lymphocytes (CD4+, CD4-), in vitro, as measured by RNA synthesis during G0 to G1 transition phase of antigen-binding competent cells. Applications: Suitable for use in CD4 Binding, B and T cell Activation, ELISA and Western Blot. Also suitable for immunization. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 10-100ng Western Blot: 10-100ng Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
