| Description | Recombinant Hepatitis C Virus (HCV) nucleocapsid protein contains 120aa residues and encodes a 16kD protein. Appears as a monomer at ~19kD on Western Blots (also as a dimer at ~34kD at higher loads). Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: Major immuno-specific band detected that migrates between 14-20kD. Minor bands allowed. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. | ||
