| Description | A concentrated source of Astrovirus particles and Astrovirus proteins from a lysate of host cells. Source: Astrovirus, type 1, A88/2 Newcastle, from from a lysate of host cells. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Inactivation: b-propiolactone treatment, verified by growth on permissive cells for 6 days without detectable new genomic RNA production. Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Note: No test guarantees a product to be non-infectious. All materials should be handled as if potentially infectious. Generally accepted laboratory practices appropriate for infectious materials should be employed when handling this product. | ||
