Description | HSV-2 gG-specific and unique sequences (amino acids 343-649), not present in HSV-1 and fused with human superoxide dismutase (SOD1) and expressed in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. This recombinant protein reacts with anti-human SOD1 and anti-HSV-2 gG2 antibodies. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
