Description | Full length Recombinant heterodimeric HIV-1 IIIB p66 (RT) produced in E.coli expression system. Acute HIV-1 infection presents in the majority of cases as a transient symptomatic flu-like illness, associated with high levels of HIV-1 replication and a virus-specific immune response. It therefore important to make a diagnosis in cases of fever of unknown origin. There are no HIV-1-specific antibodies detectable at this early stage of infection and the diagnosis therefore requires specific laboratory tests for the detection of HIV-1 antigen. For more information about HIV-1 please download the PDF catalogue below. Source: E.coli Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Lateral Flow. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
