| Description | The Plasmodium falciparum merozoite specific protein 1 (MSP1) is a blood stage antigen. An immune response to MSP1 is expected to stop merozoite invasion of erythrocytes—the developmental stage of the parasite that causes clinical malaria. Recommended use ELISA and Western Blot. Source: Baculovirus Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | ||
