| Description | Plasmodium vivax is the most common of four human malaria species (P. falciparum, malariae, ovale, and vivax)P. vivax is introduced into the bloodstream by the Anopheles mosquito. The parasites enter the liver cells, where most5 divide to form schizonts consisting of numerous merozoites. Leaving the liver, merozoites invade red blood cells and reproduce. Recommended use ELISA and Western Blot. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to Malaria MSP1 pv, expressed in E.coli Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | ||
