There are two genera in Chlamydiaceae: Chlamydia and Chlamydophila. The genus Chlamydia includes three species: C. trachomatis, C. muridarum, and C. suis. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to Chlamydia trachomatis, HSP70 protein epitopes aa462-503, expressed in E. coli. Specificity: Immunoreactive with sera of Chlamydia Trachomatis infected individuals. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
