Description This gene encodes a member of the PVR (poliovirus receptor) family of immunoglobin proteins. The product of this gene is expressed on several classes of T cells including follicular B helper T cells (TFH). The protein has been shown to bind PVR with high affinity; this binding is thought to assist interactions between TFH and dendritic cells to regulate T cell dependent B cell responses.[provided by RefSeq, Sep 2009]. Recombinant protein corresponding to aa22-141 from human TIGIT at C-terminal, fused to Fc region of human IgG, expressed in a HEK293 cell expression system. Molecular Weight: ~39.7kD, protein runs at a higher MW by SDS-PAGE due to glycosylation Endotoxin: <1EU/ug Applications: Suitable for use in studying protein binding and for screening small molecules and antibodies. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
