Description | Recombinant EBV p138 Early Antigen produced from the complete ORF of the BALF2 gene. Molecular weight calculated from the amino acid sequence is 130kD, but on SDS-PAGE the protein band is between the molecular weight markers 66.2kD and 116kD. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to EBV p138 (EA-D), fused to His-tag at N-terminal, expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~130kD Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 3-6ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
