Description			HAVCR1, also known as hepatitis A virus cellular receptor 1, belongs to the immunoglobulin superfamily. This protein plays critical roles in regulating immune cell activity especially regarding the host response to viral infection. It is receptor for TIMD4 and acts in kidney injury and repair.
