Description | This antigen is a purified preparation of Dengue 4 virus particles. It is suitable for use in assays for detection of presence of antibodies against Dengue virus, and as a positive control for the presence of the Dengue virus antigens in a sample. The product is formulated in a buffer that should not interfere with conjugation chemistries that are typically used in immunoassay development. Source: Dengue, strain TVP-360, from Vero cells. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Inactivation: The material is inactivated by gamma irradiation that damages nucleic acid. The effectiveness of the inactivation is assessed by the ability of Dengue virus to propagate in the cell culture based assay. Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
