Description | Centromere protein R isoform 1, also known as ITGB3BP1, is a widely expressed protein that contains a DD1 or RepD1 domain and an LXXLL motif. Induced by estrogen, ITGB3BP1 is believed to function as a nuclear receptor coactivator. It also associates with the CENP-A-CAD complex which is involved in mitotic progression, the assembly of kinetochore proteins and chromosome segregation. It acts as a transcriptional corepressor via its interaction with the NFKB1 NF-kappa-B subunit, possibly by interfering with the transactivation domain of NFKB1. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to human ITGB3BP1, fused to His-tag at N-terminal expressed in E.coli. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |
