Description | KCTD4 has an N-terminal homodimerization domain that contains multiple copies of kelch repeats and/or C2H2-type zinc fingers. Proteins that contain BTB domains are thought to be involved in transcriptional regulation via control of chromatin structure and function. KCTD4 is a 259aa protein that contains one BTB domain, suggesting a possible role as a transcriptional regulator. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-259 from human KCTD4, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E.coli. Molecular Weight: ~32.4kD (282aa), confirmed by MALDI-TOF Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |
