Description | Affinity purified Glycine max (Soybean) Lectin (SBA) is immobilized on aminated paramagnetic beads using EDC and stabilized in a buffer to retain maximum activity. These beads are ideal for iP applications to pull down glycoproteins. Source: Soybean Blood Specificity: A > O > B Sugar Specificity: a-N-Acetylgalactosamine > beta-N-Acetylgalactosamine Conjugate Specificity: Silica Coated Paramagnetic Beads Inhibitory Carbohydrate: N-Acetylgalactosamine Divalent Ions: Ca++, Mn++ Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |
