Description A protected 5(6)-Carboxyfluorescein in which the hydroxyl groups are acylated with isobutyric acid. The protection prevents self-condensation during carboxyl activation andavoids the formation of fluorophore-oligomer containg by-products associated with the use of unprotected FAM.
