| Description | FBL is a key small nucleolar protein in eukaryotes, which has an important role in pre-rRNA processing during ribosomal biogenesis. It is associated with the u3, u8, and u13 small nuclear RNAs and is located in the dense fibrillar component (DFC) of the nucleolus. This protein is a component of several ribonucleoproteins including a nucleolar small nuclear ribonucleoprotein (SnRNP) and one of the two classes of small nucleolar ribonucleoproteins (snoRNPs). Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa83-321 of human FBL, fused to His-tag at N-terminal expressed in E. coli. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | ||
