| Description | Regulates RHOA activity, and plays a role in cytoskeleton remodeling. Necessary for normal completion of cytokinesis. Plays a role in maintaining normal diacylglycerol levels in the Golgi apparatus. Binds phosphatidyl inositol phosphates (in vitro). May catalyze the transfer of phosphatidylinositol and phosphatidylcholine between membranes. Necessary for maintaining the normal structure of the endoplasmic reticulum and the Golgi apparatus. Required for protein export from the endoplasmic reticulum and the Golgi. Binds calcium ions. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-238 from human PITPNM1, fused to GST-Tag at N-terminal, expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~54.5kD AA Sequence: MLIKEYHILLPMSLDEYQVAQLYMIQKKSREESSGEGSGVEILANRPYTDGPGGSGQYTHKVYHVGSHIPGWFRALLPKAALQVEEESWNAYPYTRTRYTCPFVEKFSIEIETYYLPDGGQQPNVFNLSGAERRQRILDTIDIVRDAVAPGEYKAEEDPRLYHSVKTGRGPLSDDWARTAAQTGPLMCAYKLCKVEFRYWGMQAKIEQFIHDVGLRRVMLRAHRQAWCWQDEWTELSM Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | ||
