| Description | This protein's function seems to have no role in antigen presentation. It acts as a stress-induced self-antigen that is recognized by gamma delta T-cells. It’s binding to KLRK1 leads to cell lysis. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa24-297 from human MICA, fused to His-tag at C-terminus, expressed in E.coli. Molecular Weight: ~32.7kD (283aa), confirmed by MALDI-TOF Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | ||
