| Description | COQ9 is also known as ubiquinone biosynthesis protein COQ9. This locus represents a mitochondrial ubiquinone biosynthesis gene. This protein is likely necessary for biosynthesis of coenzyme Q10, as mutations at this locus have been associated with autosomal-recessive neonatal-onset primary coenzyme Q10 deficiency. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa45-318 from human COQ9, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E.coli. Molecular Weight: ~33.3kD (297aa), confirmed by MALDI-TOF Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
