Description			PNPT1 is also known as polyribonucleotide nucleotidyltransferase 1. This enzyme is predominantly localized in the mitochondrial intermembrane space and is involved in import of RNA to mitochondria. Mutations in this gene have been associated with combined oxidative phosphorylation deficiency-13 and autosomal recessive nonsyndromic deafness-70. Related pseudogenes are found on chromosomes 3 and 7. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa46-783 from human PNPT1, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E.coli. Molecular Weight: ~83.3kD (761aa) Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
