Description AuH, also known as mitochondrial methylglutaconyl-CoA hydratase, is involved in the aa degradation pathway by catalyzing the conversion of 3-methylglutaconyl-CoA to 3-hydroxy-3- methylglutaryl-CoA and water. It has been found to have very low enoyl-CoA hydratase activity. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa68-339 of human AuH, fused to His-tag at N-terminal expressed in E. coli.
