| Description | A fluorogenic substrate for measuring the chymotrypsin-like peptidase activity of the 20S proteasome. Cleavage of this AMC peptide by the enzymes generates strongly fluorescent AMC that is monitored fluorometrically. Sequence: Z-Leu-Leu-Leu-AMC Solubility: DMSO Molecular Weight: ~648.79 Lambda Absorption: 340-360nm Lambda Emission: 440-460nm Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile buffer or dH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | ||
