| Description | Myelin proteolipid protein is the major myelin protein from the central nervous system. It plays an important role in the formation and maintenance of the multilamellar structure of myelin. The peptide sequence of 6420-5150 is CGGQKGRGSRGQH. Source: Synthetic peptide CGGQKGRGSRGQH, corresponding to human myelin proteolipid protein, aa 6420-5150. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile buffer or ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | ||
