Description			Netrin-1 controls guidance of CNS commissural axons and peripheral motor axons. Its association with either DCC or some UNC5 receptors will lead to axon attraction or repulsion, respectively. It also serve as a survival factor via its association with its receptors which prevent the initiation of apoptosis. Netrin-1 is also Involved in tumorigenesis by regulating apoptosis. Recombinant protein corresponding to aa25-604 with a FLAG®-tag at the C-Terminus of human NTN1. Biological Activity: Induces axon outgrowth. Specificity: Induces axon outgrowth. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 6 months after receipt. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
