Description SDCBP, also known as Syntenin1, is a multifunctional intracellular adapter protein. This protein contains tandemly repeated PDZ domains that react with the FYA (phe-tyr-ala) carboxyterminal amino acid sequence of the syndecans. It is involved in organization of protein complexes in the plasma membranes, regulation of B-cell development, activation of transcription factors, intracellular trafficking and cell-surface targeting, synaptic transmission, and axonal outgrowth. Source: Recombinant corresponding to human Syntenin-1, fused to His-tag at N-terminus expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~34.6kD Sequences of Amino Acids: MGSSHHHHHH SSGLVPRGSH MSLYPSLEDL KVDKVIQAQT AFSANPANPA ILSEASAPIP HDGNLYPRLY PELSQYMGLS LNEEEIRANV AVVSGAPLQG QLVARPSSIN YMVAPVTGND VGIRRAEIKQ GIREVILCKD QDGKIGLRLK SIDNGIFVQL VQANSPASLV GLRFGDQVLQ INGENCAGWS SDKAHKVLKQ AFGEKITMTI RDRPFERTIT MHKDSTGHVG FIFKNGKITS IVKDSSAARN GLLTEHNICE INGQNVIGLK DSQIADILST SGTVVTITIM PAFIFEHIIK RMAPSIMKSL MDHTIPEV Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
